Canon 7D DSLR First Hands On: 18 Megapixels, 24FPS Full HD Video for $1900 - Canon EOS 7D - Gizmodo
By matt buchanan, 12:00 AM on Tue Sep 1 2009, 9,248 viewsYep, it’s real. The Canon 7D is an 18-megapixel semi-pro DSLR that shoots 1080p video in 24—or 30—glorious frames per second for $1899, kicking Nikon’s previously unchallenged D300s where it hurts. But it’s also an odd little beast.
[Canon]via gizmodo.comThe price is good though, now that it is confirmed via Gizmodo. I think video features are not my primary reason to buy a camera such as this one. I would not rely on more size to shoot a video on a SLR camera. I would take a look on more on a video camera instead if I intent to shoot videos and photos professionally with each a separate unit!
Note: I shoot videos for a hobby, therefore my priority would not be on size of the videos that a camera can take.
